Past Projects

Phase 3 of the development, the upgrade of the path to enable easier access to the village was completed in February 2014

Phase 2 (Shore facilities) at Cala Loch Àlainn, Lochaline Harbour development was completed and officially opened in July 2013

Morvern Community Development Company built the allotments scheme on land belonging to the Ardtornish Estate between Caol Muile and High Street.

Lochaline has always had a large volume of visiting yachts but unfortunately with most of the good anchorages being located away from the village and its facilities it was difficult for visitors…

MCDC purchased these woodlands for the community in 2003, from the Forestry Commission with a grant from the Scottish Community Land Fund
